No time is better than the start of a new year to take a look at our habits and see how we can improve them. While it’s good to review financial, professional and physical habits, it’s also important to remember our daily routine habits – including beauty and skincare rituals and ways to improve them.

This, of course, is easier said than done. Even the highest of professionals have things they want to improve upon, including our very own Stephanie Daga! To help get your own ideas for your beauty resolutions, we’ve rounded up our personal habits to do better in 2014.

Stephanie D. – “This year, I want to eat for my health, but also for better skin. I have taken to a mug of hot water and lemon every morning which helps to get the circulation flowing and the digestive system working at its optimal best – this helps release the toxins in the body for glowing healthier skin.  I follow this by sipping on David’s Organic Detox Green Tea.”


Morgan
– “In 2014, I want to use my Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Mask weekly. I recently purchased it and made a note to use it regularly, but haven’t quite gotten in the habit – it really does make a difference in my skin, especially when it comes to blackheads. I also want to use my anti-residue shampoo weekly – since I got my hair done I’ve been using a lot more product than I used to, so between that and the usual shampoo buildup I really want to stay on top of taking care of it.”


Steph L. – “To say that my lippie collection is “large” would be a gross understatement. I’m not sure if I should be proud or ashamed to say that I’ve got upwards of 50 in my stash. This year’s beauty resolution will be to (1) REDUCE and (2) ROTATE. I’ll be reducing my collection by donating any unused products to a local women’s shelter and passing on any lightly used products to family and friends. Furthermore, I’ll rotate through 3 products per week and “shop my stash” in order to truly appreciate what I’ve already got!”
