I got into hair and/or makeup artistry because… My mom went to beauty school as a means to make extra money when she was in school, so from a young age she always let me play with makeup and hair. As I got older the world of beauty became more fascinating and exciting. For me, makeup artistry is a way of expression and my creative outlet, but most importantly it’s art that I love doing.
My favourite part about being a hair/makeup artist is… the expression I get to see on my clients’ faces when I’m done, and the fact that I get to share part of their special day with them. It makes the whole day that much more personal – it’s an exciting feeling.
My secret weapon: Cinema Secrets foundation. They glide like butter on the skin and make it look flawless without feeling cakey, plus they are super pigmented which makes them double as an amazing concealer.
My must-share beauty tip: Less is more. Pick one feature you want to amplify and play with it!
