Years with BlushPretty: 3 years
I got into hair/makeup artistry because… Looking for a creative outlet from the corporate world, I started taking night classes in makeup artistry. At that time, I really didn’t know what would come of it but I figured, if anything, at least I would learn how to do my own makeup. After the first few classes, I was hooked. I loved seeing what I could do with makeup.
My dream celebrity client: That’s a tough one. I don’t have a celebrity I really obsess over, so I might pick a famous makeup artist instead like Bobbi Brown so I could ask her questions and learn from her.
My must-share beauty tip: There are so many to choose from, but I like things that are easy and anyone can do on a daily basis. One of my favourites: Add a sheer nude colour lip gloss to the apples of your cheeks to create the illusion of a healthy glow. Then, to create more fullness to your lips, apply to the top part of your Cupid’s bow and to the center of the bottom of your lip.
